COGM Safety Score
A comprehensive approach to evaluating on-chain assets using four key factors to measure risk, stability, and performance.
Introducing COGM
The COGM framework underpins our Safety Score, breaking down asset evaluation into four key factors: Collateralization, Operations, Governance, and Management. This structured approach provides a clear picture of an asset's strengths and vulnerabilities.
Collateralization
Assesses the quality and security of the assets backing the stablecoin, including asset type, collateral ratio, bankruptcy remote features, and storage.
Operations
Evaluates system stability through deviation control, peg stability mechanisms, and redemption options.
Governance
Reviews regulatory oversight, audit practices, and attestation frequency to ensure accountability.
Management
Assesses team transparency and track record in managing the project.

Our Methodology
Each asset is evaluated across the four COGM factors, with a score assigned to each. These scores are weighted and combined to produce an overall Safety Score. Our assessment incorporates both quantitative data analysis and qualitative expert review.
Scores are updated quarterly or in response to significant market events to ensure our ratings remain current and reflective of real-world conditions.
